Given the unique circumstances we face due to the coronavirus, the June 23rd Primary Election will be conducted a little differently than usual. It is still very important that we make out voices heard on election day in the safest way possible! Keep reading for more information on your options to vote in the June 23rd primary. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the campaign at (585) 441-0508 or email@example.com.
New York State will be sending absentee ballot request forms to every voter so that you can apply to receive and fill out a ballot safely from your own home. Every voter in New York State is eligible to vote absentee due to the coronavirus pandemic: all you need to do is request a ballot and mark “temporary illness or physical disability” on the application. You can get a head start on requesting your ballot by visiting the Monroe County Board of Election’s webpage to request a ballot online.
You may have received two ballots request applications in the mail: one for state and local elections, and one for federal. Be sure to send back the application for the state and local elections so you can vote for Alex in the primary for State Assembly! He is also on the second ballot as a delegate for a presidential candidate, so make sure you are sending back the correct ballot.
Ballots will begin being mailed 30-45 days before the election. June 16th is the deadline to request a ballot. If you need any assistance voting, please do not hesitate to reach the campaign at (585) 441-0508 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Voting by mail is the best option to keep us safe and healthy. Thank you for all you are doing to slow the spread of the virus – this community is going to get through this together. If you’re interested, check out Alex’s coronavirus plan.
