New York State sent absentee ballot request forms to every voter so that you can apply to receive and fill out a ballot safely from your own home. The deadline to send in your absentee application has passed. If you still have an absentee ballot and want to vote by mail, the ballot must be postmarked by June 23rd. We are encouraging everyone to safely vote early at this point due to potential delays in receiving absentee ballots in the mail.
You may have received two ballots request applications in the mail: one for state and local elections, and one for federal. Be sure to send back the application for the state and local elections so you can vote for Alex in the primary for State Assembly! He is also on the second ballot as a delegate for a presidential candidate, so make sure you are sending back the correct ballot.
If you need any assistance voting, please do not hesitate to reach the campaign at (585) 441-0508 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Voting by mail is the best option to keep us safe and healthy. Thank you for all you are doing to slow the spread of the virus – this community is going to get through this together. If you’re interested, check out Alex’s coronavirus plan.
